The International Indian Film Festival Toronto (IIFFT) is a not-for-profit cultural organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting the richness of Indian cinema across North America. Guided by a vision to foster stronger cross-cultural connections through the powerful medium of film, IIFFT serves as a vibrant platform for storytelling, dialogue, and artistic exchange.
In 2017, IIFFT expanded to include SPORTS (Soccer and Cricket) to its programming mix to unify communities. IIFFT celebrated the inaugural Celebrity Charity Soccer game at Nathan Phillips Square as part of Canada 150th Celebrations.
In 2019, IIFFT proudly expanded its horizons to include Pakistani cinema, furthering its mission to spotlight South Asian voices and narratives. With this inclusive approach, the festival embraces diversity and unity, showcasing the depth and beauty of the subcontinent’s cinematic heritage.
IIFFT is on a bold path to becoming one of the premier Indian film festivals in North America—uniting audiences, filmmakers, and cultures through the universal language of cinema.
As we look ahead, the 2025 edition of IIFFT promises to be our most exciting and unforgettable celebration yet—bringing more films, more voices, and more moments that will inspire, connect, and captivate.
